Patricia "Patti" Worman, age 71, of Pekin passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 at Norton Clark Hospital. Born February 27, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Lydell Hardesty and Ida (Bailey) Hardesty.

Raymond Levi Thompson, age 91, passed away on July 3, 2025 surrounded by family at Salem Crossing. He was born on July 3, 1934 to parents Chester and Florence (Bunch) Thompson.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma J. (Limp) Pugh, age 94, on July 2, 2025. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she passed away peacefully at the Evansville Indiana Protestant Home.

Teena E. Balentine, age 67, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at her residence. Born October 24, 1957 in Salem, she was the daughter of the llate Alva Lewis Roberts and Barbara (Easton) Vanover. On December 22, 1982, she married Randall Balentine.

Lynn Stewart Lasley, 77, of Salem, passed away May 15, 2025 at Meadow View Health and Rehab in Salem. He was born on July 12, 1947.

Lori Denise Garrison, age 68 of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in her home. Ms. Garrison was born November 30, 1956 in Salem, the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia Nice Floyd. Lori was a VFW Auxillary Member. She retired from GKN Sinter Metals after 34 years, and was a graduate of East Washington High School.

Mrs. Barbara J. Shawler, age 73, of Salem, passed away Sunday, June 29 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. Mrs. Shawler was born March 20, 1952, in Gallipolis, Ohio, the daughter of Rodger Long and Helen Murrah Goen. She was a beautician.

Reda Lynn Alexander, age 69 of Salem, Indiana passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Baptist Health Floyd New Albany. Born August 7, 1955 in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Lena Fern (Cox) Sowder.

William "Billy" Spears, 55, of Salem, passed away June 27, 2025 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born on December 7, 1969 in Seymour, Indiana.

Anita Kay (Stephenson) Smith, 87, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, June 27, 2025 at her residence, the family farm. Kay Smith’s life was full of family, faith, food, and farming. Although she lived the majority of her years in one area, it was a beautiful life during which she strived to be open, learn new things, and love the people around her.

Mrs. Gloria Marie Fleenor, age 69, of Salem, passed away Friday, June 27 at her home.

Marvin Bennett Marshall, age 89, of Campbellsburg passed away, Thursday, June 26, 2025. Mr. Marshall was born August 24, 1935 in Campbellsburg, the son of Albert and Irma Bennett Marshall. He was a member of Westview Church where he served as an Elder for many years. Marvin retired after 38 years from Child Craft as a quality control supervisor.
