Washington County Theatre will present It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Show  on December 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gary W. Hartsook Hall at 405 N. Shelby St. in Salem.

Washington County is gearing up for a heartwarming holiday tradition as Shop With a Cop returns on Saturday, December 13. Starting at 8:00 a.m., approximately 60 children will get the chance to shop for Christmas presents at Walmart alongside officers from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and Salem Police Department.

For Washington County residents who have ever wondered what it takes to run for local office, Purdue Extension is offering an opportunity to learn the ropes before campaign season begins.
