The 2nd Annual Benefit Ride in Memory of Bryce Gerlach will take place Saturday, August 16, 2025, starting at the Salem Moose Lodge. The event will feature side-by-sides, Jeeps, and bikes, as well as live music, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, poker run, and a taco bar.
Registration begins at 10 a.m., with the ride leaving at noon. The cost is $20 per driver and $5 per passenger, with meals included. The route will cover approximately 60–70 miles with three stops. Bikes will take a separate route. The ride is advertised as a kid-friendly event.
The ride honors the memory of Bryce Gerlach, a Corydon high schooler who tragically lost his life to a senseless act of gun violence at "Harvest Homecoming" last year in New Albany. In his memory, a scholarship has been created, and all funds collected from the event will go toward Bryce’s memorial scholarship to help continue his legacy of helping others.
Participants are encouraged to wear orange to raise awareness of gun violence or to wear Bryce’s favorite color, blue.
The silent auction will end with last bids at 6 p.m., followed by live music.
