Carletta Jo McKinney, age 74 of Salem, Indiana passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, in her residence.

Born October 18, 1951 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Carl H. Benham and Jessie L. (Wilson) Benham.

She was an employee of GKN, Ace Hardware and Fishers before retiring.

She had been a life resident of Washington County and graduated from Salem High School. She enjoyed walking her dog Betsy, hanging out with her Grand-niece Maddie Elliott and enjoyed reading in her free time.

She married Darrell A. McKinney, who passed away May 24, 2012.

Survivors include: Brother: Robert Hall of California; Brother: Tim Benham of Georgetown, Indiana; Sister: Lawanna (Steve) Schneck of Little York, Indiana; Nephew: Jeff (Paula) Elliot of Scottsburg, Indiana; Nephew: John Godfrey; Nephew: Scott Benham; Nephew: Jeremy Elliot; Nephew: Chuck Godfrey; Niece: Allison Leigh; Niece: Erika Benham; Niece: Katie Benham; Niece: Nova Hall; Stepson: Darren McKinney; Stepdaughter: Keely Harlan; Stepdaughter: Kelly McKinney and Stepdaughter: Abby Davis.

She was preceded in death by: Sister Shirley Ann Godfrey and brothers: Byron and Larry Benham and Doug Hall.

Interment at Livonia Cemetery.
