Connie Carol Miller

Connie Carol Miller, age 74 of Pekin, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 4:27 pm, in U of L Health - Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.


Born May 17, 1951 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Chester Bowling and Virgie (Davidson) Bowling. She had been a life resident of Washington Count and on October 13, 1967 she married Herman Lee Miller Jr. She was a retired employee of the old Smith Cabinet Manufacturing Company in Salem after more than 20 years.


She was a member of the Christian Faith and loved watching Charles Stanley, Joyce Meyer, and her favorite pastor Arnold Murray on T.V.


Connie was the proudest Mother, Grandmother & especially Great Grandmother in the entire world, her family was her world & her happiest times were spent being around her family. Her sweetness & kindness were unmatched even during her fight with Pancreatic Cancer she always told her caregivers & nurses how much she appreciated their service.


Survivors include: Husband: Herman Lee Miller Jr. Daughter: Carol Lynn (Bobby) Wilkerson of Salem, Indiana; Sister: Shirley (Wayne) Bowling of Salem, Indiana; Brother: Ralph (Marylin) Bowling of Salem, Indiana; Brother: Arthur Bowling; Granddaughter: Laci Wilkerson of Pekin, Indiana; Grandson: Robbie Wilkerson (Miguel Hernandez) of Pekin, Indiana. and her most precious of all her family, her great grandchildren: Coy and Adia Blodgett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.


Visitation: 11 am until the time of the service on Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 3:00 pm Wednesday 3/25/2026 at Dawalt Funeral Home.


Interment at Olive Branch Cemetery near Pekin, Indiana.
