Donald Lee Miller of Salem, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025.


Donald Lee Miller was born in Reddyville, Kentucky on June 11, 1940, to Blossie and Mona (Allison) Miller. He was 85 years old.


Mr. Miller attended Kansas Church of Christ until his health failed. Donald moved in with his sister and brother-in-law, when his health did not allow him to live alone anymore.


Donald was a United States Marine, and proud of his service. He loved his service, and he loved this Country. Donald was active in the American Legion as long as his health permitted. He believed that all Military Personnel should have a Military Funeral and would help pay the cost. He loved talking with Veterans and visiting them. Donald never married. His goal was to make sure that his family was taken care of: his sister, brother-in-law, brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. His favorite things to do was to have family gatherings. Holidays were a feast. He loved being with his family eating pizza and hot wings.


Donald is survived by his sister, Shirley (Dallas) Satterfield, sister-in-law, Ruth Miller, five nieces and nephews, ten great nieces and nephews and 14 great great nieces and nephews.


Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents, Blossie and Mona Miller, his brother John Miller and nephew, Gregory Miller, great nephew Jeremy Rippey, his great great nephew Axle Cedeno and his great great niece Dharma Rippey.


Services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2025 at Kansas Church of Christ at 11:00a.m. Visitation will take place Thursday evening, from 6:00-8:00p.m at the Church and on Friday morning, from 9:00a.m until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Kansas Cemetery Fund C/O Jay Nice.
