Extreme Flooding at White & Muscatatuck Rivers

Although the skies cleared and the sun came out Monday morning, the aftermath of the storms over the weekend was nowhere near over, as miles of northern Washington County became submerged in the floodwaters of the White and Muscatatuck Rivers.

While lots of local waterfowl and fish-eating birds of prey seemed to enjoy the change in scenery, the same couldn't be said for the human residents of the area. In addition to multiple roads being flooded over, several homes became surrounded, and even partly submerged, in the waters.
