From roadside tables stocked with freshly-picked vegetables to small family operations offering homemade baked goods, Washington County is home to a large variety of local farm stands.


These businesses give residents an opportunity to buy fresh and local products while supporting the farmers and families who produce them. Whether you're looking for produce, flowers, eggs, baked goods, honey, or other locally made items, there's a good chance you can find it right here in Washington County... with a couple of honorable mentions.



To help our readers find what's available close to home, The Washington County Times has compiled the following guide. Products at farm stands can change throughout the season, so readers are encouraged to check with farmstand owners before making a trip.

Salem


Kayla’s Korner

Location: 5515 W Mount Tabor Rd, Salem

What they sell: Muffins, Breads, Cookies, Cinnamon Rolls, Cakes, Bars, Seasoned Pretzels, and more! 

When they're open: Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

About the farm stand: Operating all summer long, Kayla is a teacher who loves baking for family and friends. She is unsure if she will be open past September, so be sure to check her Facebook page to get the latest details.



Bigfoot Brew Coffee Co.

Location: 34 N Sipple Ln, Salem

What they sell: Fresh Roasted Coffee and Bigfoot Brew merch such as apparel and drink tumblers.

When they're open: They try to keep the stand stocked 24/7, so it is always open.

About the farm stand: They are in the process of starting this business back up, and hope to have the stand up and running before the end of August.




Darlin’ Cakes Farm Bake Stand

Location: 4592 SR 160, Salem

What they sell: Bread, slices of cake, cookies, muffins, no bake cookies, cupcakes, slices of cobbler, cinnamon rolls and slices of pie.

When they're open: Through the week 6 till dark, on good days.

Fat Goat Farm 

Location: 4440 Martinsburg Rd, Salem

What they sell: Seasonal vegetables.

When they're open: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm daily. Likely won’t be open weekend of October 17th.

The Graceful Whisk

Location: 2405 W Vincennes Trail, Salem

What they sell: Cookies, Brownies, Quick Breads, Mini Desserts, etc.

When they're open: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 9:00 am to 9:00 am.

Pear Orchard Farm

Location: 6871 E Pear Orchard Rd

What they sell: Bread, bagels, cookies, eggs, produce, flowers, other handmade items, such as lip balm, salves and tea.

When they're open: "We’re a pop-up stand."

How to find them: They are a seasonal pop-up farm stand. Be sure to check their Facebook page for when they're open.



G's Bakery Barn Farm stand 

Location: 735 S Harristown Rd, Salem

What they sell: Peanut brittle, cookies, cobblers and cakes.

When they're open: Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, or until sold out.

Tasteful By The Taylors

Location: 114 Spring Meadow Circle, Salem

What they sell: Sourdough sandwich bread, sourdough boules, varieties of cookies, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal cream pies & holiday specials.

When they're open: Friday & Saturday 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, Sunday 9:45 am to 7:30 pm.

About the farm stand: They are open from April until the end of October, and Thanksgiving & Christmas preorders and pickup will be available! They are ServSafe certified and have been baking since 2023.



Campbellsburg


Smith’s Mini Farm & Homestead

Location: 11262 W Jim Brown Rd, Campbellsburg

What they sell: Breads, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, etc. Farm fresh eggs.

When they're open: Thursday and Friday: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

About the farm stand: "We’re just a little family of three. My husband works a full time job, and I’m a stay at home mom and bake full time for our farmstand. This is something I’ve dreamed of for as long as I can remember and we’re grateful we have finally been able to open this year (2026) and we plan to grow bigger and bigger as the years go by. We appreciate each and every one of our customers."



Brylei's Cottage 

Location: 12790 Buffalo Trace Rd, Palmyra

What they sell: Baked good, breads, cookies, brownies, cobblers, seasonings, etc. All homemade 

When they're open: Fluctuating days. Right now, Friday-Sunday pending change. All posted when done so.

About the farm stand: "The stand is named after my daughter!"



Fredericksburg


Frakes Homestead

Location: 6185 W. US Hwy. 150, Fredericksburg

What they sell: "Mini sweet loafs such as brownie loafs, banana bread, pumpkin bread, lemon blueberry loafs, regular sandwich bread, cinnamon raisin bread, homemade oatmeal cream pie cookies as well as many other cookies, some with sourdough discard. When available homegrown vegetables and when chickens are laying enough, farm fresh eggs. Plan to add vegetable plant starts next year as well."

When they're open: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

About the farm stand: "We have a book on the stand where people are free to leave suggestions and request certain baked goods, as well as on Facebook where people can message for personal baked good requests for pick up. Everyone needs community, and I want to be a little part of that."


Front Porch Bakery

Location: 8694 S. Kays Chapel Rd., Fredericksburg

What they sell: Sourdough breads, cheesy garlic biscuits, cookies and seasonal treats.

When they're open: Wednesday - tentative 6:00 pm; Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 5:00 pm.

Hardinsburg


Backyard Blooms Farmstand

Location: Johns Lane Hardinsburg, IN 47125

What they sell: Produce including various peppers, tomatoes, green beans, and fresh cut flower bouquets, chaos garden and cut flower seed packs.

When they're open: Weekends.

Honeysuckle Garden Stand

Location: 7003 S. Hardinsburg Livonia Rd, Hardinsburg, IN 47125

What they sell: Vegetables and flowers.

When they're open: Normally Monday - Saturday 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Pekin


Plum Tickled Farm Stand

Location: 11261 S SR 335, Pekin

What they sell: Breads, cookies, cinnamon rolls, fresh produce, rice cereal treats, seasonings, and more coming soon!

When they're open: Every day, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Borden


Daisy Hill Roadside Stand 

Location: 23019 Daisy Hill Rd, Borden

What they sell: Jalapeño cheddar bread, pizza bread, banana bread, brownies and cookies 

When they're open: Friday and Saturday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Henryville


Sleepy Hollow Stand

Location: 17825 Highway 31 S, Henryville

What they sell: Salsa, bread and butter pickles, dill pickles, squash bread, zucchini bread, banana nut bread, cookies, Rice Krispy Treats, Chex Mix, vegetables, bracelets, keychains, tote bags and fresh flowers.

When they're open: Every day during daylight hours.

About the farm stand: "I know we are in Clark County, but thought I’d share. We are raising money for adoption. We are adopting our first baby! Trying to get to $27k which is about half before we apply."
