Genevieve Morris, age 88 of Salem, Indiana passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 08:44 pm, in her residence.

Born July 20, 1937 in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Howard N. Nale and Gladys W. (Whitman) Nale.

She had been a life resident of Washington County and was a Salem High School graduate with the class of 1956.

She was of the Methodist Faith and loved playing fetch with Winston, her tomato garden, traveling and needle point in her spare time.

On March 3, 1956 she married Dale Columbus Morris, who passed away January 21, 2015.

Niece: Dianne Ramsey of Lexington, Indiana;

Nephew: Rick (Carol) Morris of Salem, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by Nephew, Rodney Morris.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday 3/3/2026 at Dawalt Funeral Home with Damon Spurgeon officiating.

Visitation: 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home.

Interment at Olive Branch Cemetery Pekin, Indiana.
