James "Little Jimmy" Brown

James Thomas Brown "Little Jimmy - Uncle Jimmy", age 62 of Pekin, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at his residence. Born on October 6, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of Elizabeth (Spurrier) Brown and John E. Brown.

"Little Jimmy" is survived by his two brothers: Steve and Billy Brown; two sisters: Karen Harp and Tina Baird; one stepbrother: Darrell Miller; and one stepsister: Kathy LaFever; along with 25 Nieces and Nephews, 37 great Nieces and Nephews and 1 great-great Niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Elizabeth and John; along with one Nephew: Daylon Harp; one great Nephew: Kayden Bibb; and one stepbrother Chuck Miller.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Pekin. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donation may be made out to the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
