The Hardinsburg Town Council met Thursday evening, July 10, at the Hardinsburg Senior Citizens Center.

Council President Wayne Johnson announced that former president David Davis, Jr. had resigned from the Board, and in his place Johnson nominated Alexandra Jimerson. Councilman Rick Millholland seconded the motion.

Upon Clerk-Treasurer Kathy Jackey administering Ms. Jimerson's oath of office, Johnson then moved on to the second and final order of business: "I'm going to ask for a motion for a resolution to establish a financial institution for town funds."

This too passed unanimously. The meeting was then opened to public comment, but there were no speakers. The meeting was then adjourned.
