Jo Ann Voyles

Jo Ann Voyles, age 66 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2025 in her home.

Mrs. Voyles was born February 19, 1959 in Kentucky, the daughter of Marvin and Jean Bailey Sermon. She was in the ROTC and was the 1st female flight commander. She received her associates degree at ivy tech, and worked at Child Craft and did clerical work at Life Springs.

Jo Ann is survived by her sisters, Angela Sermon-Pieper of Depauw, Sherrill Lott of Salem, Renee Burman of Salem, Brenda Burman of Campbellsburg, Mollie Sermon of Campbellsburg and Rebecca Raque of Jeffersonville. She's also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Voyles is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Voyles, who passed away September 10, 2020, and her parents.

Services for Mrs. Voyles will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 2:00p.m at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will also be Thursday, at 11:00 until the service starts. Burial will follow at Kansas Church Cemetery.
