Jo Ellyn Reynolds, age 60, was born on July 16, 1966 and died on September 12, 2026. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and the steadiness of her presence is what her family will miss most.
She leaves behind her husband, Jeff Reynolds, with whom she shared a life built on ordinary days and quiet commitment. She was the mother of Samantha Anderson and Kyle Reynolds. Her family grew to include her son-in-law, Ryan Anderson, and daughter-in-law, Patty Reynolds, who became part of the life she tended so carefully.
Her grandchildren — Austin Reynolds, Roxanne Reynolds, Mila Martin, and Sadie Anderson — knew her as a constant source of warmth and attention. Her brother, Chad Beckett, and her nephew, Joseph Beckett, survive her as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sharon Beckett; 1 son: Jacob Reynolds; and her sister, Michelle Beckett.
Jo Ellyn's life was centered on the people she loved. The roles she held — spouse, mother, grandmother, sister — were not titles she carried lightly, but responsibilities she tended with care. Those who knew her best will remember her for the consistency of her love and the ways she showed up for her family, again and again.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home - Salem Chapel; visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
