JoeAnn Brown, age 91, of Pekin, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at Norton Clark Memorial Hospital. Born November 22, 1934 in Harlen, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Burgan and Josie (Blanton) Burgan.

She is survived by 4 children: Darrell Brown (Velma), Connie McQuigg (Joe), Stanley Brown, and Penny Knollenberg (Ralph); 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Josie Burgan; husband, Elbert Brown; son, Bruce Brown; grandson, Buddy Brown; and 5 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home - Borden Chapel with Merle Harl officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Olive Branch Cemetery.
