Lynn Maudlin

Mrs. Lynn Maudlin, age 57, of Pekin, passed away Thursday, November 6 at Hillcrest Village.

Mrs. Maudlin was born September 8, 1968, in West Virginia, the daughter of Bertie and Thelma Bailey Butcher. She was a receptionist for New Horizon Physical Therapy and formerly ran an in-home daycare for several years. Lynn was a member of Galena Church of Christ.

On June 23, 1990, Lynn married Mark Maudlin. She is survived by her husband, Mark, of Pekin, a son: Logan Maudlin (Aubrey) and their soon to be born son, of Sheridan, Indiana, her parents: Bertie and Thelma Butcher of Indianapolis, a brother-in-law: Timothy Maudlin (Mary Beth) and their sons: Jonathan Maudlin and Andrew Maudlin. She is also survived by a sister-in-law: Rhonda Higginbotham (Trent) and their daughters: Amber Shackelford and Courtney Spriggs (Zachary), two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home with Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 PM and Tuesday from Noon-1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.
