Margaret Ann Martin, age 95 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 4:00 pm, in Kraft Commons Assisted Living in Indianapolis.

Born April 17, 1930 in Bedford, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Stanley L. and Flossie S. (Davis) Bennett.

She graduated from Salem High School class of 1947 and was the co-owner of Martin Real Estate and Auction Service and Martin Hills Ranch.

She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa Sorority and was a former board member of Hoosier Uplands.

On March 11, 1951 she married Ellis Ervin Martin, who passed away July 26, 2018 after 67 years of marriage.

Survivors include:

Son: Gary (Nancy) Martin of Indianapolis, Indiana;

Daughter: Lisa Martin of Salem, Indiana.

4 grandchildren: Caroline and Tess Martin, Whitney (Louis) Turso and Courtney (Greg Dangler) Temple and 7 great grandchildren: Sofia, Marly and Rocco Turso, Ellison Arnold and Micah, Sophia and Winston Dangler.

Visitation: 10:30 am to 1 pm Saturday, September 20th at Dawalt Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Steven Gorman officiating.

Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana.
