On Friday, July 18, at 11:54 am, Washington County emergency responders were dispatched to the area near the intersection of SR 60 and E Motsinger Rd in reference to a minor, single-vehicle accident involving a red Ford truck. Upon arrival, the truck could be seen off the side of the road, and it appeared to have damaged fencing.

“The driver was heading east on SR 60, and his front passenger tire blew out,” said Lieutenant Wayne Blevins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department. “It jerked him off the road, and he panicked. He came back onto the road and went into a skid.”
Blevins concluded by stating that the driver refused treatment from the ambulance and that he was all right.
Thanks to the speedy response of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Washington County EMS, and Pierce-Polk Volunteer Fire Department, the scene was cleared quickly, and the minimal impact to traffic was restored to normal.
