Motorcycle Crash Injures Campbellsburg Man

A PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WASHINGTON COUNTY INDIANA SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT:
On September 28, 2025, at approximately 12:04 am, members of emergency services were dispatched to the area of State Road 60, near 2393 N. Smedley Road, in Campbellsburg, Indiana for a motor vehicle accident. The type of accident and number of vehicles was unknown at the time of the call.
Deputies arrived on the scene and discovered that two motorcycles had collided on the roadway. One motorcycle was located in a ditch, while the other motorcycle was located down the roadway.
The driver of the motorcycle that was located in the ditch, was found unconscious. That driver was identified as Kenny Davey, age 29 of Campbellsburg, Indiana.
The second driver was identified as Travis England, age 41 of Salem, Indiana. England was not injured.
Davey was not wearing a helmet and was flown to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Deputy Jordan Crawford is the lead investigating officer and was assisted by Deputies Paul Reyling, Joe Johnson, Seth Goode and Jason Hartsfield.
The motor vehicle crash remains under investigation at this time.
