Obituary: Bonnie Martin

Bonnie J. Martin, age 94, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mrs. Martin was born November 14, 1930 in Orange County, Indiana, the daughter of Chester A. and Agnes Thrall Goen.

Mrs. Martin was the most loving, caring, generous and witty mom that God could give a son. If her family and friends were to provide a testimonial to the positive influence that she had on their lives you would be reading this obituary for days. She will be dearly missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her son: Michael Boling of Indianapolis, her brother: Larry Goen of Fillmore, her sister: Nancy Whitson of Salem, Beverly Tilford of Martinsville, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Martin is preceded by her husband, Ron, who passed away February 11, 2001. She is also preceded by her son: Gary Boling, her brother: Charles Goen and her sisters: Betty Autry, Shirley Perdue, Wanda Bowling, and Rose Albertson.

A graveside service will be held on June 28 at 3:30 at Crown Hill Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 2:00-3:30 at Weathers Funeral Home.
