Obituary: Edward G. Nunley

Mr. Edward G. Nunley, age 87, of Salem, passed away Friday, May 16 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Mr. Nunley was born November 2, 1937, in Neon, Letcher County, Kentucky. He was the son of Carl Edward and Mandy Yeary Nunley. Edward retired from Kimball Manufacturing after 37 years.

Edward married Donna Miller Nunley on May 17, 1986, and she survives. He is also survived by one daughter: Teressa Doyle (Richard) of Limestone, Tennessee, one sister: Juanita Faye Slone of Kentucky, 3 grandchildren: Stacey Wright (Bill), Miranda

Doyle (Jon Dugger) and James Doyle (Jordan), and 3 great-grandchildren: Jonathan Dugger, Will and Ethan Wright. He was preceded in death by eight brothers: James Nunley, Thomas Nunley, William Clarence Nunley, FD Nunley, Clyde Nunley, Alan Nunley, Lowell Nunley, and Spencer Nunley, two sisters: Lucille Hayes and Sarah Quillen, and his parents.

Cremation was chosen. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 21 from 1:30-3PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
