Mrs. Gloria Marie Fleenor, age 69, of Salem, passed away Friday, June 27 at her home.
Mrs. Fleenor was born August 1, 1955, in Salem, Indiana, the daughter of John Duncan Sr. and Oma Roark Duncan. She was an employee of Child Craft Industries for 32 years and Kimball International for three years. Gloria graduated from West Washington High School. She attended Spenciarian and Watterson College before dedicating herself to work and raising a family. Gloria was a devoted wife to her husband of 45 years, Orville Fleenor, who survives, as well as a devoted mom to her three daughters: Judy Brown, Donna Higginbotham (William), and Bonnie Moore. She is also survived by sisters: Bernice Mims of Sanford, Florida, Joanne Roberts, of Fredericksburg, and Rose Boswell of Paoli, grandchildren: K.C. Elliott, Christopher Jonas, and Olivia Higginbotham, and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and five brothers: Arnold Duncan, Bill Duncan, Charlie Duncan, John Duncan Jr. and Robert Duncan.
A Memorial service will be held Monday, June 30 at 4PM at Weathers Funeral Home with Toney Voyles officiating. Visitation will be before the service from 1-4PM.
