Obituary: Kathy "Jan" Shelton

Mrs. Kathy "Jan" Shelton, age 71, of Borden, passed away Wednesday, June 11 at Baptist Health Floyd, surrounded by her family.

Jan was born September 29, 1953 in Salem, the daughter of Elmer and Shirley Ann Gould Hamilton. She was a retired employee of Net Shape in Campbellsburg and a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church.

Jan is survived by her husband of 33 years: Dave Shelton of Borden, three daughters: Tricia Zink of Salem, Rachel Voyles (Jamie) of Salem and Amber Tower (Stuart) of Leavenworth, Indiana, two brothers: Brett Hamilton (Carmie) of Heltonville and Patrick Hamilton (Kathy) of Campbellsburg, a sister-in-law: Sherry Hamilton of Salem, and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son: Robert Todd Zink, a brother: Frankie Hamilton, a granddaughter: Amanda Goss and her parents.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 14 at 1PM at Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Campbellsburg. Visitation will be Saturday from noon-time of service at the church.

There will be a meal following the service at the church.
