Obituary: Marvin Marshall

Marvin Bennett Marshall, age 89, of Campbellsburg passed away, Thursday, June 26, 2025.

Mr. Marshall was born August 24, 1935 in Campbellsburg, the son of Albert and Irma Bennett Marshall. He was a member of Westview Church where he served as an Elder for many years. Marvin retired after 38 years from Child Craft as a quality control supervisor.

Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife, Mingon Marshall, who he married on December 23, 1955. He is also survived by his children, Marsha Myers (Danny) of Campbellsburg and Mark Marshall (Stacy) of Campbellsburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Darrell Myers, Lesley Armour (Bradley), Eric Marshall (Carrie), and his great grandchildren, Nixon, Ruby and Noa. Mr. Marshall is also survived by his sister Mary Alice Morris (Ernie) of Salem.

Mr. Marshall is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Louise Stephan.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, at Westview Christian Church at 2:00p.m. Visitation will be on Wednesday July 2, from 4:00-8:00p.m and Thursday, 12:00 until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery following the funeral service.
