Sample ballots for May 5 primary now available for Washington County voters

As voters prepare for the May 5 Primary Election, the Washington County Clerk’s Office has provided The Washington County Times with official sample ballots for each township. These ballots are now available below in PDF format for both Democratic and Republican voters, offering a clear look at the races and candidates that will appear on Election Day.

Reviewing a sample ballot in advance can help voters feel more informed and confident when they head to the polls. It also provides an opportunity to become familiar with local offices and any contested races within your township.

Voters should also be aware that in several local races, only Republican candidates have filed to run. As a result, those contests, including the 2nd District Commissioner seat and all County Council positions, will effectively be decided in the primary election, unless an independent candidate qualifies for the general election ballot.

Readers are encouraged to download and review the ballot for their township ahead of May 5.
