Semi Crashes Into Faith Victory Center Church Near Palmyra

At approximately 5:46 pm on Tuesday, July 15, emergency personnel including Indiana State Police, Posey First Responders, and Washington County EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Horners Chapel Road and U.S. Highway 150 between Palmyra and Fredricksburg, where a semi was reported as having hit a church building.

Upon arrival, the building was identified as Faith Victory Center. "Thankfully no one was in the building at the time and the driver was not injured," Indiana State Police – Sellersburg shared in a Facebook post. "Investigators believe it was raining at the time of the crash, but the cause of the crash has not been determined and the crash is still under investigation."
