On Wednesday, August 27, Washington County emergency responders received a call at 7:31 pm in regard to a truck that had rolled over into a ditch near the area of 8926 US-150 in Hardinsburg. Upon the arrival of the Washington County Times, a red Chevrolet 2500 HD pickup truck could be seen sitting off the south side of the road with debris scattered alongside it.

“The male was attempting to avoid a vehicle that he thought was going to be pulling off into the ditch,” said Deputy Seth Goode from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department. “The vehicle ended up pulling into Garrison Trucking. He tried to avoid it because he was going around him, and he got pulled down into the ditch and flipped over.”
Deputy Goode then stated that the male, whose name has not been released, was uninjured.
Thanks to the quick response of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, EMS and Posey Volunteer Fire Department, the scene was cleared in a timely manner, and traffic resumed to its normal state.
