VIDEO: Structure fire on W Purlee Rd
On October 23 at approximately 6:44 pm, emergency responders were dispatched to W Purlee Rd near SR-135 S regarding a structure fire.
It has been reported that no one was inside the structure at the time of the incident, and no injuries have been reported as of this time.
Homeowner Brittni Hunt said, “Thanks to all the firefighters and emts and our neighbors that came out! They saved it from spreading to our animals and other structures! Everyone is safe!”
The structure, a garage, appears to be a total loss. However, no further information is available at this time.
Responding departments include Pierce-Polk Township Vol Fire Department, Salem Fire Department, and Washington County Ambulance Service.
