Anna Belle Martin Trueblood, age 105, of Salem, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Salem Crossing. Mrs. Trueblood was born March 17, 1920 to Logan J. and Mattie Luse Martin at the Martin home, south of Salem, Indiana.

Mr. Edward G. Nunley, age 87, of Salem, passed away Friday, May 16 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. Mr. Nunley was born November 2, 1937, in Neon, Letcher County, Kentucky. He was the son of Carl Edward and Mandy Yeary Nunley. Edward retired from Kimball Manufacturing after 37 years.

Levi Michael Hebard, 21, of Salem, passed away Monday, May 19 at his home. Levi was born March 25, 2004 in Panama City, Florida. He had attended Legacy Life Church in Salem and Restoration Christian Church in Sellersburg. He was an employee of Burger King in Salem and was in training to become an Assistant Manager. He was starting Ivy Tech on June 9 for welding.

Gerald N. Thompson, age 85 of Salem, Indiana passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, in St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Born September 8, 1939 in Pineville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Mart and Hattie (Robbins) Thompson.

David Joe Rutherford, age 74, passed away peacefully on May 15th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. David was born on April 23rd, 1951, in Salem, IN to parents Francis Rutherford and Leora Bush Rutherford. He was the oldest of his siblings: Becky Rutherford, who survives, and Steve Rutherford and Grace Ann Bowers, who preceded him in death.

Ronald Bishop, 87, passed away on May 13, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. Ronald Bishop was born on May 17, 1937, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to Alvin Bishop and Dorothy (Boyd) Bishop. Ronald graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1955, marking the beginning of his lifelong career as owner-operator of the family business, Bishop Motor Company.

Roger Burl Jean, age 90, heard the words "Well Done" from his Lord and Savior as he peacefully passed at is home in Salem, IN on May 13, 2025. He was born to Cecil and Gayle Russell Jean on June 1, 1934 in Medora, IN. He graduated from Campbellsburg High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Lorinda Darlene "Dardar" Niece, age 54, of Paoli, Indiana passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Paoli Health and Living. Born May 21, 1970 in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Niece and Alice (Dotson) Niece.

Deanna Rose Lanham, age 65, of Salem passed away Sunday May 4, 2025 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. Born October 21, 1959 in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Osborne Haley, Jr. and Freda (Robinette) Haley.

Vickie L. Kniesly, 63, of Pekin, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born July 30, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Rod and Penny (Foster) Houston.

Christine Schmidt, 89, of Salem, passed away at her residence on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Born March 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Noah D. Wickey and Mattie (Schwartz) Wickey.
