3rd annual Bryce Gerlach benefit ride to be Oct. 3
The 3rd Annual Benefit Ride in Memory of Bryce Gerlach will take place October 3, 2026, starting at Cornerstone Chapel & Celebration Center, 1500 Rc Morris Dr, Salem. Side-by-sides, Jeeps, and bikes are invited to join, and there will be a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, poker run, door prize, and catering from B&B.
Registration begins at 10:00 am, with the ride beginning at noon. The cost is $20 per driver and $5 per passenger, with meals and a door prize ticket included. Bikes will take a separate route. The ride is advertised as a kid-friendly event.
The ride honors the memory of Bryce Gerlach, a Corydon high schooler who tragically lost his life to a senseless act of gun violence at “Harvest Homecoming” in New Albany in 2024.
The Bryce Gerlach Memorial Foundation was founded in his memory to continue his legacy of helping others. All funds collected will go to the foundation to continue awarding scholarships to students across Southern Indiana.
Participants are encouraged to wear orange to raise awareness of gun violence, or to wear Bryce’s favorite color, blue.
The silent auction will end with last bids at 6:00 pm.
Donations for gift baskets are still being accepted, with a Venmo and Amazon gift registry available to make it convenient for donors. Items donated through the registry are shipped directly to the foundation.
