SCS to host annual Veterans Day program Nov. 11

Salem Community Schools to present corporation-wide Veterans Day Program on Wednesday, November 11 at 9:00 am in the Salem High School Main Gym.

The program features students from all three school buildings. The program will include patriotic music from the band, choir and elementary students (grades 3-5). There will be student speakers from each of the three buildings and a guest veteran speaker, Adjutant General Dale Lyles.

There will also be a slideshow that will play at the program to honor our veterans. Anyone who has a veteran they would like to see honored in the slideshow should email the photo and veteran’s name to mspaulding@salemschools.us.

All veterans, current members of the military, and members of the community are welcome to attend this event as we salute our American heroes. Veterans are invited to enjoy coffee, juice, and donuts in the SHS Presentation Room before the program begins.
