Ascension St. Vincent to host annual health fair Nov. 7

Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital will host its annual Health Fair on Saturday, November 7, from 9:00 am to noon at the hospital, located at 911 N. Shelby St. in Salem.

The event will offer visitors an opportunity to take advantage of several health screenings and services, including low-cost cash labs, vision screenings, hearing tests, skin checks, heel scans and flu shots.

Heart calcium scans will also be available for $49, although spaces are limited.

A variety of local businesses and organizations will participate as vendors, providing information and resources to attendees. Participating vendors include BBQ Paradise, Haye's Lemonade Shake Ups, Meadow View Healthcare, Amedysis Home Health, Mosier's Chiropractic, RD Aromatherapy, Hoosier Uplands Home Health, Journey Together RCO, Life Spring Behavioral Health, Purdue Extension, Washington County YMCA, Skyline Suites, Home Helpers Home Care, Dr. Black's Eye Associates, Forefront Dermatology, Accessi Care Home Health, Heart to Heart Hospice, Stat Flight and the Peyton Manning Trauma & Burn Team, among others.

Door prizes will also be available throughout the event.
