It is that time again! Another “On The Bricks” event, hosted on Market (“Brick”) Street by Mayor Justin Green and his staff, is less than one week away. This time, Market Street is seeing the return of “Art On The Bricks” on June 5 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Art on the Bricks first debuted on July 18, 2025 with great success, and it also served as the first ever “On The Bricks” series event. Mayor Justin Green is bringing it back with some new updates!
“This is the second year of Art On The Bricks,” began Mayor Green. “It was designed to help promote downtown activities and bring local awareness. In doing so, these are free family events with plenty of accessible parking. I believe it is important to promote our community, and the backdrop of our bricks makes for a perfect venue!
“We have incorporated food options for attendees to enjoy while appreciating and supporting our art vendors,” he added. “Also, we have adjusted the time to benefit vendor schedules.”
This year’s “Art On The Bricks” will feature food options from two food truck staples in Washington County: Hayes Lemonade and Mama B’s Kitchen.
Additionally, the Mayor is seeking any and all local artists that would like to display and/or sell their masterpieces. To ensure everyone has a smooth, easy experience, a table and chairs are provided for each art vendor at no cost. If this interests you, contact Salem City Hall at (812) 883-4265 to get signed up!
