Community Thanksgiving meal coming to Campbellsburg on Sunday

New Covenant Church in Campbellsburg will welcome the community for a free Thanksgiving meal on Sunday, Nov. 30.

The day begins with a short Bible study at 9:30 a.m., followed by coffee and cookies. The morning service will take place at 10:45 a.m., with the Thanksgiving meal served at noon.

The menu includes deep-fried turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, baked beans, green bean casserole, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, egg noodles, carrots, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, blueberry cobbler, and whipped cream.

Organizers say everyone is invited, however, those interested in attending are asked to mark "going" on the Facebook event if possible so organizers know how much to prepare in advance.
