Dorothy Glover

Dorothy Glover, age 89, of Salem, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026, in Salem. Born May 15, 1937, in Haleyville, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late William Gertis Adams and Elma (McDonald) Adams.


Dorothy had a special love for flowers and plants and enjoyed spending time caring for them. She also found joy in crocheting but in her younger years, Dorothy especially loved to cook and bake.


She is survived by her two daughters: Selina Wood and Nancy (Eddy) Frazier; her brother: William “Leo” Adams; grandchildren: Angela (Brian) Clute, Mandi Frazier, along with four others and many great-grandchildren.


Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Lee Glover; one daughter, Annalisa Woodrow; one son: Lance Bell; along with one brother and two sisters.


Per Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has been chosen.


Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with funeral care.
