Eloise Jean Durham

Eloise Jean Durham, age 66 of Salem, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Meadow View Health and Rehab, surrounded by family.

Ms. Durham was born February 5, 1960 in Salem, the daughter of Omer Brent Ewen "Red" and Polly Gay. She was a Master Firefighter and instructor with the Campbellsburg Fire Department and a Certified EMT. She was also a dispatcher. Ms. Durham loved IU sports, NASCAR, specifically Jeff Gordon and watching any West Washington sports.

Ms. Durham is survived by her daughter, Tabitha Reed (Brad) of Campbellsburg, her brother, Lanty Ewen (Diana) of Salem, her sister Carolyn Wingler of Salem and her grandchildren, Hailey Reed and Sierra Reed. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Durham is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Marilyn Ewen.

Services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2026 at Weathers Funeral Home at 11:00A.M. Visitation will take place Thursday, August 26 from 3:00-7:00P.M and Friday morning from 9:00A.M until the time of service. Burial will take place immediately following the services at Kays Chapel Cemetery.
