First Baptist Church presents a free night of Christmas music Dec. 6

First Baptist Church will be hosting a free night of Christmas music on Saturday, December 6 presented by The Washington County Madrigal Singers. Although this year's Christmas concert is a slight change of pace and name, it is continuing the 52 year tradition of the "Washington County Madrigal Dinner" at First Baptist. This year is, "The Music of Christmas."

Located at 200 East Walnut Street in Salem, the concert will begin at 6:30 pm, and there will be refreshments available during a short intermission.

The evening will include songs that attendees will recognize, as well as some that may be more unfamiliar. Some of the selections include:

  • Tidings of Comfort and Joy

  • O Christmas Tree

  • Do You Hear What I Hear?

  • White Christmas

  • And many more
