The holiday spirit is gearing up in Campbellsburg as the community prepares for a festive evening of Hot Cocoa & Cookies with Santa and Mr. Grinch on December 12 from 6–8 p.m. at the Campbellsburg Community Building. The event is free to attend, with guests encouraged to bring donations for the local food bank—non-perishable items, monetary contributions, or volunteer time.
Event planner Anita Flannery-Teeter says organizers are also hoping to collect new toy donations for Santa to pass out during the celebration. “We are looking for toy donations if anyone has any for Santa to pass out,” she said. “Toys and food donations can be dropped off 12 to 4 on December 10 or 11. Praying we have enough toys and to flood the food bank!”
Bre’s Photography will be onsite providing free photos with Santa and Mr. Grinch, making the evening a fun and meaningful kickoff to the Christmas season. The organizers invite the community to join in spreading joy and supporting local families in need through this heartwarming holiday tradition.
