Salem Community Schools invites the community to join us in honoring our nation’s heroes during a Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 11, at 9:00 am in the Salem High School Main Gym.

This district-wide celebration will bring together students from all three school buildings to recognize the service and sacrifice of our veterans and active-duty military members. The program will feature patriotic performances by the Salem Middle School and High School bands and choirs, as well as elementary students in grades 3–5.
Student representatives from each school will share reflections on what Veterans Day means to them. We are honored to welcome guest speaker Delbert Wray, a local veteran, who will share his experiences and insights.
There will be a slideshow playing to honor veterans related to Salem students and staff. Anyone who wishes to have a veteran recognized is encouraged to submit a photo to mspaulding@salemschools.us.
All veterans, current members of the military, and community members are invited to attend as we come together to salute the brave men and women who have served our country.
