Southern Indiana Works Offering Free Career Coaching in Washington, Scott Counties

Public career coaching services are available to those who qualify in Scott and Washington Counties.

Southern Indiana Works (SIW) offers free career-coaching services to eligible residents of Scott and Washington Counties. These services support individuals in planning their careers, strengthening job-search strategies, and possibly connecting them with employment and training opportunities.

Career coaching services are available at the following locations on Tuesday & Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eligibility requirements apply. Appointments are encouraged to ensure availability, though walk-ins may be accommodated as scheduling permits.

SIW Career Coaches provide one-on-one support tailored to individual needs, including:

• Career exploration and career pathway planning

• Résumé development and review

• Job search assistance and application support

• Interview preparation and mock interviews

• Connections to education, training, and certification programs

• Referrals to community and workforce resources

• Support for career changes, reentry into the workforce, and advancement opportunities

Services are available to individuals at all stages of their career journey, whether they are entering the workforce for the first time, seeking new employment, or pursuing long-term career growth.
