After weeks of hard work and preparation, Thunder Valley Raceway is set to roar back to life Saturday, October 25, with what organizers say could be either the final race at the historic venue or the start of a new era for local motorsports.

In a post to social media, race officials said, "It may not be perfect, but it won’t be for lack of effort!"
The track has undergone significant improvements in recent weeks, and organizers say they’re eager to welcome racers and fans alike. The racing lineup will include Crown Vics paying $1,200 to win, Pure Stocks paying $700 to win, and Hornets paying $425 to win.
The first 50 fans through the gates will receive free grandstand admission.
According to the official race schedule, the pit gate will open at 10:30 a.m., and the grandstands will open at noon. Driver registration closes at 1 p.m., followed by a drivers meeting at 1:30 p.m. Hot laps begin at 2 p.m.
General admission for adults is $10, while kids 16 and under get in free. Pit passes are $25.
Organizers added that they expect great weather and strong participation for the event, which they hope will bring something positive back to the community.
