VIDEO: Salem emergency responders conduct mock drunk driving scenario for SHS students

On April 23, Salem emergency responders were called to the Bradie Shrum Elementary School parking lot next the soccer field to demonstrate a mock drunk driving scenario organized by Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.).
Scenarios like this help to put into perspective the consequences of certain harmful and reckless decisions for the Salem High School students watching in attendance.
We spoke with Salem Fire Chief Mark Day, Assistant Chief Max Gamble, and SHS Journalist Flora Wade about the impact that one wrong decision can have on your own life, as well as the lives of those around you.
