Humane Society to Host Soup and Chili Fundraiser

The Humane Society of Washington County will host a Soup and Chili Lunch Fundraiser on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the American Legion, located at 105 W. Hugh Veteran Drive in Salem.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the event will feature a variety of meal options, including chili, chicken noodle soup, vegetable soup, hot dogs, and grilled cheese, along with soft drinks and desserts. The meal will be offered for a free-will donation, with all proceeds benefiting the Humane Society.

The Humane Society of Washington County is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting animals from abuse and neglect, reducing pet overpopulation through education and spay/neuter programs, and promoting responsible pet ownership. Funds raised through the event will support the organization’s ongoing efforts to advocate for animal welfare and community outreach programs throughout the county.
