A Community Posting by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to join in the 2025 Small Business Saturday Cookie Walk, a festive, family-friendly event celebrating local businesses and the holiday season.
Sponsored by the Washington County Tourism Commission, the Cookie Walk will take place on Saturday, November 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is $8 per participant, with check-in located near the Santa House behind Fox Purlee’s Wealth Management. Participants are asked to stop at the registration booth first before beginning their walk.
This year’s recommended starting point is Lisa’s Farmhouse Market, just across the street from the registration area. Guests can enjoy a warm cup of hot cocoa before beginning the counter-clockwise route around the Salem Square. Each participant will receive a card listing all participating businesses. At every stop, visitors will have their card stamped and collect a cookie while exploring the shops and supporting local holiday commerce.
Participants who complete the full walk are asked to return their stamped card to the registration booth no later than 2 p.m. to be entered for a chance to win an iPad.
In addition to the Cookie Walk, visitors are encouraged to enjoy several other Small Business Saturday activities, including Art on the Block at the Salem Apothecary, a Christmas Open House at Huckster’s Hall, and free pictures with Santa provided by Cheryl Lee Photography.
