Soil & Water Conservation District to Host 2025 Fall Conservation Field Day

The Washington County Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) will host the 2025 Fall Conservation Field Day on Tuesday, August 26th at Armstrong Cattle & Crops near Fredericksburg, Indiana. (Address will be provided at pre-registration.) Registration will begin at 4:30 PM with dinner at 5:00 PM. The program will begin at 5:30 PM and tours will begin at 5:45 PM. This event will feature topics including: Rotational Grazing Systems, Integrated Weed Management in Pastures, and Conservation Programs. A panel of local livestock producers will also discuss Direct to Consumer Marketing.

Speakers will include Robert Zupancic (Natural Resources Conservation Service Grazing Specialist), Rachel Walker (Corteva Agriscience Range & Pasture Specialist) and Washington County staff. A variety of livestock producers will sit on the producer panel.
