Indiana State Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the ongoing investigation into the June 13 shooting and vehicle crash that claimed the life of 17-year-old Hunter Rowley of Pekin.

According to an update released by the Indiana State Police Sellersburg Post, detectives continue to process evidence and conduct interviews as the investigation moves forward.

State police announced the following arrests:

• Jessica Lambert, 35, of Pekin, was arrested on probable cause June 16 on charges of intimidation, a Level 6 felony, and false informing.

• Kendall Cline, 20, of Salem, was arrested June 15 on charges of intimidation, a Level 6 felony, and dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance, a Level 6 felony.

• Ethan D. Edison, 22, of Salem, was arrested June 16 on charges of intimidation, a Level 5 felony, dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance, a Level 6 felony, and pointing a firearm, a Level 6 felony.

Both Cline and Edison were arrested on warrants issued through Washington County. All three individuals were booked into the Washington County Jail and are currently being held without bail.

Indiana State Police have not publicly stated how the charges relate to the death of Rowley, nor have investigators identified a shooter. Authorities have also not released additional details regarding the circumstances that led to the arrests.

The case stems from an incident reported on the evening of June 13 in the 8000 block of South Big Springs Road, approximately nine miles south of Salem.

According to investigators, Washington County Sheriff's Department deputies and local first responders were dispatched at approximately 7:30 p.m. after receiving an automated vehicle crash alert. After arriving on scene, deputies requested assistance from Indiana State Police.

Detectives later determined the incident involved an apparent shooting and a subsequent vehicle crash. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Earlier this week, Indiana State Police identified the fatality as Hunter Blaine Rowley, 17, of Pekin. Following the identification, Rowley's family shared a public statement describing their grief and launched a fundraiser to assist with funeral expenses.

Investigators emphasized that the case remains active and ongoing. State police said only limited information is being released at this time in order to protect the integrity of the investigation and noted that additional arrests or charges may occur as the case progresses.

All individuals charged in this case are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges are allegations and may be amended as the investigation continues.
