Lynne Marie Elliott (Little) was born on August 20, 1961, in Portland, Maine. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lynne passed away peacefully at her residence on October 13, 2025.

Kevin W. Carty, age 65 of Salem, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 12, 2025. Mr. Carty was born August 5, 1960, in Salem, the son of Billie and Elenora Carty.

Benny R. Howard, age 72 of Salem, passed away October 8, 2025 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. Mr. Howard was born April 21, 1953 in Harlan County, KY, the son of John N. Howard and Lydia Clem Howard. Mr. Howard was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, and was a big UK and Cincinatti Bengals fan.

Michael "Mike" Albertson, age 55 of Salem, passed away October 8, 2025 at Norton Downtown Hospital. Mr. Albertson was born on July 30, 1970 in Texas, the son of Franklin Albertson and Marilyn Rose Goens Albertson. Mr. Albertson was a grounds keeper at John Jones, Walls Lawn Care and had done landscaping for most of his life.

Rilda Irene Morris, age 93 of Salem, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany.

Mark Shelby, age 65 of Salem, passed away, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at his home. Mr. Shelby was born January 8, 1960 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Thomas O. Shelby and Ruth Eloise Hayes Shelby. He served in the Tennessee Army National Guard and worked at the Taylor Corporation his whole life.

Wayne Franklin Temple, 75, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Mitchell Manor.

Glendall Hollis, age 72, of Salem, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 at Salem Crossing. Born February 16, 1953, he was the son of the late James Hollis and Etta (Thornbury) Hollis.

Johnny Lee Lemarr, age 83, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Salem Crossing. Born June 7, 1942 in Virginia, he was the son of the late Arthur Lemarr and Veda (Goins) Lemarr.

Mr. Simpson was born May 10, 1968 in Salem, Indiana the son of Robert Lee Simpson and Judith Ann Roberts Simpson. Mr. Simpson was a die hard Indianapolis Colts fan, he loved classic rock and attended many concerts. He was always one to joke around and have fun.

Gary L. Nale, age 82, of Borden, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 at his residence. Born July 22, 1943 in Pekin, he was the son of the late Verlin and Helen Nale. On October 21, 1989, he married Lora (Newlon) Nale who survives.
