Ryan Nelson Thomas, age 38 of Salem, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Mr. Thomas was born November 1, 1987 in New Albany, Indiana the son of Paul and Cindy Herron Thomas. Ryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting and spending time with his family.

Louis P. Rivas, age 71, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 at his home in Pekin, Indiana. Born on January 19, 1954 in Verdun, France, he was the son of Luis I. Rivas Burgos and Reine M. (Maré) Rivas.

Mr. Donald Lee Floyd, age 65, of Pekin, passed away Monday, December 15 in an accident on State Road 135. Mr. Floyd was born April 2, 1960 in New Albany, Indiana, the son of Jack and Sharon Warren Floyd. He was a brick mason and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Ruth Eloise Hayes Shelby, age 95, widow of Thomas O. Shelby, passed away at Skyline Suites Assisted Living in Salem, Indiana on December 18, 2025. She was formerly of Covington, Tennessee.

Paul John Beyster II, age 62, of Salem, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at his residence. Born on June 27, 1963 in Round Lake, Illinois. He was the son of Paul John Beyster I and Rosemarie (Vermillion) Beyster.

Wanda L. Davis, age 84, of Pekin, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025 at her residence. Born March 9, 1941 in Pekin, she was the daughter of the late Dannie Baker and Alberta (Coats) Baker. On August 10, 1968, she married Francis Davis who also preceded her in death.

Christopher S. Voyles, age 60 of Salem, passed away Friday, December 12 at Baptist Health Floyd. Christopher was born June 17, 1965, in Salem, Indiana, the son of Jim and June Lyles Voyles. He was a General Contractor and served in the US Navy as a Sonar Technician on a submarine.

Linda Darline Montgomery, age 82, of Salem, passed away Thursday, December 4 at St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

Frank J. Trammell, age 55, of Salem, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital. Born on July 10, 1970 in Riverside, California, he was the son of Clive Trammell and Delores Sanchez. He married Lisa (Maack) Trammell on May 5, 2019.

Steven "Spoonman" Tankersley, age 67, of Pekin, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. Born on February 1, 1958 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of Luther "Bud" Tankersley and Nervesta "Vesta" (Ash) Tankersley.

David Samuel Burns went Home peacefully to his Lord, Saturday morning, December 6, 2025 while being cared for in Baptist Floyd Hospital by a loving staff. He was surrounded by his brothers and sisters. David was born on February 12, 1967 to Roy and Mary (King) Burns, living most of his life in New Philadelphia then in the city of Salem.

Lynn Carter Hutton, age 88, of Salem, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025 at BeeHive Homes of Scottsburg. Born April 10, 1937 in Corbin, Kentucky, He was the son of the late Martin Hutton and Ethel (Taylor) Hutton.
