Walter Raleigh Deaton, 81, of Little York, Indiana passed away April 23, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on November 13, 1943, to John Logan and Beulah Deaton Deaton. He came to Jackson County at the age of 10 and has lived here since. He graduated from Salem High School in Salem and married Veva Sue Greathouse on July 29, 1962.
