Fatal Single-Vehicle Accident Near Little York on Monday
On Monday, August 4 at 9:17 am, Washington County emergency responders received a call in regard to a fatal motor vehicle accident near Little York at the intersection of N Scifers and Bush Road. Upon arrival, a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze could be seen crashed into a tree off the east side of Scifers Road.

Mr. Robert E. Walls Sr., age 68, of Salem, passed away Monday, August 4 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. Mr. Walls was born March 14, 1957, in Indianapolis, the son of Lawrence "Doc" Stroud and Mary Maxine Rickenbaugh Lawrence Stroud. He was a retired truck driver. He was an Army veteran, a member of Double Y Saddle Club and Enon Baptist Church.
